Statement no. (1236)

Concerning displacement of around (1500) Kurdish families from Tuz Khirmatoo district due to the Hashd Militias' practices

Praise be to Allah, and may prayers and peace be upon the Messenger of Allah, Muhammad Ibn Abdullah; his family, companions, and those who followed him:

The unjust practices followed by Hashd Militias in Tuz Khirmatoo district in Salah-il-deen have caused displacing of about (1500) Kurdish families from the district fleeing from the danger which threatens their lives and restricts their sustenance.

According to people testimonies, Hashd Militias threaten people directly or  indirectly by exploding their  homes , murdering them for sectarian and ethnic motives ;to force them leaving their homes ,works and livelihoods.

Media sources and field statistics confirm that nearly (500) persons were killed in the last months in the district ,and hundreds killed mostly their fates are still unknown ;these events reveal the huge security chaos in the center of district ,its towns and villages where militias related to government and regional countries control .

These heinous practices that include people in the city especially and the district in general reflect the real security situation in the country governed by the militias in collaboration with the current government; which is an extension of similar crimes committed in other areas where militias seek to make changes in the demographic composition to achieve their known goals.

The Kurdish parties are also bear much of the responsibility for the targeting of  Kurdish component in Tuz Khirmatoo district in terms of its responsibility in protecting  people in the district ,and by virtue of being a partner in the current political system which supports militias and their sectarian and ethnic actions ,and encourages similar practices in many areas that affected other Iraqi components.
