AMS Mourns Sheikh Abdul-Qader Ibrahim Ali, 'Baghdad's First Judge'

Association of Muslim Scholars mourned, Sheikh Abdul-Qader Ibrahim Ali, 'Baghdad's First Judge' previously, who passed away last Wednesday in Baghdad at the age of 91 years, due to suffering from an incurable disease for a long time

The Association reviewed in the obituary the biography of the deceased God's mercy .. pointing out that he was a judge in Mosul in 1958 , then moved to Baghdad in 1964 to become the first judge in the Sharia Court for many years , so he was known among the people as 'Baghdad's First Judge'.

The Association noted that the deceased Sheikh, he had held several positions , including the presidency of the Scientific Council of the Ministry of Awqaf , also took over the teaching of Civil Procedure at the College of 'Great Imam' , besides, he was teaching the personal status and legal proceedings in the Judicial Institute of the Ministry of Justice previously .. The Association asking Allah to rest the deceased in eternal peace, and grants his family and relatives the patience and fortitude .
