One of the achievments of the current Occupation's Government in Iraq is putting this country in the top three among those with highest kidnapping rate, because there are many combined terrorism, political and criminal issues carried out by pro-government militias supported by the current Prime minister (Nouri Al-Maliki), and they work under official cover .

There is a tremendous increase in kidnapping rate in Iraq for past decade. More than 1,700 people are kidnapped annually so making it "State of Lawlessness". Under the current government , kidnapping, murdering and violence are the business of PGMs in Iraq, and because of the criminal background of the current government and the void political process, Iraq is catching up this fast. Kidnapping in Iraq does not only put rich at risk but poor, old, traders as well according to the motives of those militias. There is a real need to have a strict law enforcement and check to eliminate this crime committed by those pro-government militias.

American forces have left Iraq in danger of every kind of crime and the jungle law still prevails. Official data about kidnappings in Iraq is difficult to collect but it is estimated to be upto 1,700 kidnappings per year. The Crisis-management assistance company places this country in the top three among those with highest kidnapping rate because there are many combined terrorism, political and criminal issues carried out by those militias which are the sole reason for carrying out kidnappings. There were several threats to Iraqi public this year as reported the security of life and money in Iraq remains a fluid.

Among the most serious negative phenomena taking place in Iraqi society as a result of the plight of US-led invasion and the successive militias' governments brought by it, the occurrence of abduction, especially among children, added to many many Iraqi concerns which did not focus upon the local media, prompting people to think of ways and means to ensure the protection of themselves and their children from abductions , which were repeated to a level not be seen before, and this is remarkable in the capital, Baghdad, and most other provinces.

Although, the deterioration of the security situation and the lack of security in many parts of Iraq,  the current government did not lift a finger, on the contrary, the government clients were trying to justify what is happening, for unknown reasons, but this reflect the size of involvement of the current government with these crimes coming to Iraq during the U.S. occupation and the subsequent tragedies, murders and the non-stop violence across the country.
