AMSI Congratulates The Release of Sami al Hajj Print E-mail

ImageThe Department of Information and Media in the Association of Muslim Scholars in Iraq (AMSI) congratulated al Jazeera Satellite Channel on occasion of the return of our colleague Sami al Hajj after years of detention in the prisons of US Occupation in Guantanamo. 


HEYET Net – Congratulation message of AMSI sent to the administration and employees of the channel evaluating the release of al Hajj as “The closure of a chapter of the painful pages of violation of personal rights as human beings and distinguished career media person who had a major impact in conveying the concealed truths to the world.”


Sudanese journalist Sami al Haj and other two Sudanese detainees who were with him at Guantanamo to Khartoum Airport on board a US aircraft at the end of a long journey lasted about 24 hours. They immediately transferred to a hospital in Khartoum to provide health care.


Mustafa Osman Ismael, the adviser of Sudan President explained that American side was preventing the photography of delivery of Sami al Haj for security reasons and so avoid the declaration date of arrival was intended to avoid the media crowd, and everything was arranged by agreement with the U.S.


AMSI Information and Media Department prayed Allah Almighty to give relief to Sami al Hajj and all others.
