HEYET Net - At the press statement number 556 issued by the Press Department AMSI warned the political parties they are providing the occupation and their collaborators in this respect (arrest campaigns).

“This matter will not be hidden on the people and those who are supporting this will not go unpunished by Allah Almighty.” said the press statement. 

For the position of the Arab Tribes in Mosul City which have had the great merit of exposing the immoral crimes committed by these forces AMSI invited all honorable people in the world to stand firm in these destructive schemes. 

The campaign carried out by the joint forces from the occupation, the current government, Peshmarga Kurdish forces and so-called Awakening Council forces resulting the arrest of more than 120 officers from the former Iraqi Army officers who were working in an MIC in the previous government mostly from Mosul. 

Meanwhile the joint forces also proceeded to arrest a number of university professors and students randomly in different parts of Mosul.

The arrests by these elites and the involvement of militia forces that belong to sectarian and political trends in Iraq's second largest city indicates that the military campaign with more dimensions than what is advertised. Its goal is the elimination of the sons who refused to preserve what brought by the occupation and their allies. This campaign targets civilians and arrests carried out under the guise of military campaigns which are false and fictitious.

It is worth mentioning that there are more than 2000 students in the Departments of Interior in the university suffering from very difficult circumstances.

At the end of the press statement The Association of Muslim Scholars in Iraq (AMSI) hold the occupation, the current government and all participants in this crime fully responsible resulting tragedies and pain shameful affront to humanity.
