Rusafah Branch of the Association of Muslim Scholars in Iraq (AMSI) held its monthly meeting in Baghdad on Wednesday at 25 June 2008 in presence of Sheikh President of the branch, his two deputies and several members.
HEYET Net – AMSI Rusafah Branch board of directors discussed the following matters at the meeting: 1. the most important events in Iraq and among them planned long-standing convention to be signed between the occupation forces and the current Iraqi Government while there is broad rejection even in some affiliates of the occupation and entrants in the current political process with different intent, purpose with the real strong rejection of the occupation. This demonstrates the sincerity of what AMSI went to and set up to the reality of the Iraqi arena since the beginning of the occupation while some were accusing us of not realistic in our demand for putting scheduling occupation. Because it is the core problem and it does not work except only in this so-called process to implement its interests and ambitions over Iraq. If those people are now agreed and obliged upon what we said we only thank Allah Almighty for this. Again the participants clarify the determined and fixed position of the Association of Muslim Scholars in Iraq (AMSI) in rejecting the occupation, its projects till the realization of our high goals with help of Allah for a prompt victory on the occupiers and their collaborators. 2. The remembrance of the second anniversary of the martyrdom of Sheikh Dr. Youssef al Hasan (May Allah have mercy upon him) 3. Masicom competition of the branch for the scientific activities in the summer season including the memorization of the Holy Qur’an at the courses. 4. Distribution of some relief aids to the families of martyrs and detainees.
