AMSI Condemns the Attacks in Ghazaliya and Amiriya Print E-mail

The Association of Muslim Scholars in Iraq (AMSI) condemned the arrests carried out by the occupation and the current government forces that have full responsibility.

 

 

HEYET Net - In its statement AMSI demanded them to desist from such practices and the release of arrested people immediately.

  

The press release about the arrest came after government forces guard on Thursday, 14 August 2008 detained two citizens from Al-Ghazaliyah near al Muhaymin Mosque indiscriminately.

  

It is noteworthy that al Ghazaliyah region is constantly subjected to raids and arrest campaigns after each incident targeting by the guard forces. These forces sealed off the area and prevent the entry and exit procedures and abused the people of the neighborhood.

  

It also condemned the American occupation forces for killing of Arkan Hamid Amir al Alwaysi  and arresting three persons from his family on Thursday, 14 August 2008.

 

The murder occurred when troops raided the house of the citizen located in al Munazzamah street near the fire service and shot and killed the victim arresting three persons from his family taken them to an unknown destination.

 

The Association of Muslim Scholars in Iraq (AMSI) hold the occupation and the current government having full responsibility, and invited human rights organizations the need to document these crimes and detect the perpetrators.
