HEYET Net Damascus Office - Dr. Hakem al-Mutairi, a member of the Kuwaiti parliament visited Ummah Center for Research and Development on Tuesday, 25 November 2008.
 

Dr. Hakim delivered a lecture in the Center Hall where he introduced a detailed historical explanation for the late stages of development of Muslim Ummah taking the reason of the dimension in true Islamic base.
 

At the center after lecture the discussion started where Dr al-Mutairi touched upon the current reality of the Ummah and the suffering of an identity crisis, explaining the stage since the reign of Rashidi Caliphates to this day.

 

The seminar included a discussion series of interventions by several workers at the Center on the Iraqi issue, the repercussions of the occupation and discussion ways of confronting to this occupation.

 

At the end of the visit, Dr. Al Mutairi thanked to organization, management of the Center and the symposium participants.

 

The seminar was attended by a number of personalities interested in the war on Iraq including Dr. Talaat Rumaih, the editor of a series of strategies in Cairo.
