The Association of Muslim Scholars in Iraq (AMSI/HEYET) has made a press statement number 610 related to targeting of American occupation forces in Mosul City by the current Iraqi Government Army soldiers.

In the statement AMSI remembered the heroic action of other heroes who defended their dignity and honor against the occupation forces and give the example. AMSI praised Martyr Usamah al Azawi in Baiji during the raid operation of many American occupation soldiers to his home spraying bullets to them resulting two soldiers killed. He was also martyred as a result of his attack.

AMSI told these operations have very important messages more than a letter giving messages to the enemy that is : "The Iraqi Resistance began to influence security apparatuses who were made up by the occupation to defend them.

The statement called upon all members of security apparatuses to take position with their people against the occupation. Because the nation is permanent and with help of Allah Almight the occupation will exit.
