The Arab Revolutionary Democratic Forum issued statement saluting the Iraqi resistance for the selection of Sheikh Harith al-Dhari as their representative.

The statement said: "the unity of the Iraqi resistance of which dialogue the Forum demands since the start of the resistance to the occupation and good choice of speaker and negotiator for their name, is indication of the growing awareness of the military struggle and resistance, and the confidence enjoyed by people of all sects, political affiliations and party .

The statement added: "In a time of increased Western military presence and its rules increasing further military occupation and terrorism, the Forum pays tribute to the heroic Iraqi resistance in its defense of the interests of Iraq's unity, Arab character and independence, and choice of Sheikh Harith al-Dari as a person to talk and negotiate on behalf of."
