Dr. Faidi: Resistance Uses New Tactics Print E-mail
Sunday, 13 December 2009 23:57

Sheikh Dr. Muhammad Bashar al-Faydi spokesman for the Association of Muslim Scholars in Iraq (HEYET) stressed that the Iraqi resistance started using a new combat tactic to commensurate with the tactical change of the U.S. occupation army.

Sheikh Faydi told that the tactic of occupation is often based on not to appear in cities but rely on the government security services to lift from their shoulders the weight of material and human losses. It has resulted in the lack of frictional resistance factions. Thus the resistance has also changed combat tactics, began to target military bases of the occupation forces with rockets, bombs, mortars and locally manufactured rockets.

After the statements published by the resistance factions addressing invasions or operations, it has begun for announcement of campaigns to target U.S. military bases in almost all parts of Iraq. This is the harshest one for the Americans, because it keeps all the elements of U.S. military leaders, soldiers and their order in a situation of horror. This time they feel themselves more vulnerable.

It is worth noting that when U.S. occupation administration says its soldiers are killed in non-combat incidents it is generally the cause of rocket attacks by resistance fighters on the headquarters of the occupation forces who began to withdraw under the pretext of signing an agreement to comply with his fourth cabinet.
