65 Citizens Arrested in Babil Governorate Print E-mail

65 citizens living in Babil Governorate were arrested during the so-called military operations in the region according to the official spokesman for the Ministry of Defense in the current Iraqi Government.  

HEYET Net – Occupied Iraq is witnessing another arrest campaigns targeting ordinary people through so-called military operations.  65 citizens have been arrested within the so-called “Leap of Knights” carried out by the troops in the province.  

So-called security operation was extensively launched with participation of the current army, police and occupation forces in early morning on Wednesday.  “Leap of Knights” plan is being carried out by two days in the north of Hilla where the imposition of curfew still valid.  

Meanwhile analysists and many neutral observers criticize these operations as targeting ordinary citizens or the areas against the occupation and collaborators. Many times the detainees held in the government or occupation prisons have no right to defend themselves even majority of the detainess have not seen any judge so far.
