Two members of so-called Sahwa (Awakening) Council forces were killed and wounded after armed clashes in Baquba City.

HEYET Net - According to the sources one security check point belong to so-called Awakening Council located in al Dhuwaib, south Bahraz area, south of Baquba City was subjected to armed attack where light and medium weapons were used.  

The source added that the clashes took place between so-called Awakening forces and gunmen while Awakening called for assistance from troops located near the military zone that forced the gunmen to retreat to remote areas east of Dhuwaib. 

It is noteworthy that so-called Sahwa (Awakening) Council members are daily being targeted by mostly Iraqi Resistance Factions for their oppressive actions against ordinary Iraqi citizens.
