Seven people were wounded on Monday in a booby-trapped vegetables cart explosion in western Mosul, a security source said.
“A vegetable cart crammed with explosives went off on Monday targeting a police vehicle patrol in Souk al-Maash region in western Mosul, injuring seven, including four policemen,” the source told Aswat al-Iraq - Voices of Iraq - (VOI) on condition of anonymity.

“The wounded were rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment,” he added, without giving more details.

Mosul, the capital city of Ninewa, lies 405 km north of Baghdad.
