HEYET Net Special - Forces of so-called Muthanna Brigade (Brigade 24) arrested more than 100 people, including the imam and preacher of al Imam al Hasan Mosque in the district and worshipers were arrested from the mosque.  
 

Witnesses said troops from the Muthanna Brigade have launched a major offensive leading dozens of innocent people from the district and the surrounding regions at Abu Ghraib to be arrested. 

The area also witnessed the arrest of imam-preacher of Imam Al-Hassan mosque and 3 of the worshipers after noon prayers, in addition to raid to al Sadik al Amin Mosque arresting 10 worshipers after morning prayers. 

The reasons behind this offensive are not known, however, the families of the detainees have said named Brigadier General al Ameed Abdel Nasser is trying to bring closer those arrested for prime ministry. 

The families of detainees are very sad because of these arrests, which deprived them of their children and their parents, particularly with the approaching holiday of Ramadan. 

The area of Abu Ghraib witnesses armed attacks by returning some of the displaced families and others as reprisals and the use of voice grenades without taking so-called Muthanna Brigade lowest action.
