Lightning kills girl near Fallujah Print E-mail

A girl was killed in southwest of Fallujah when struck by a lightning, while working in a field.


Police source said on Saturday, November 29, "The girl, who was about 18 years old, died on arrival to hospital, due to being struck by a lightning. None of her family members, who were working with her on the other part of the field, was hurt."

It is noteworthy that Fallujah and its surrounding witnessed heavy rain fall accompanied by strong wind, thunder storms and a decline in temperature.
