An explosive bomb targeted an army patrol in northeast of Baquba, according to a source in the government army.


 

The source pointed out that the device exploded during pass of a patrol in the "al Sifiona area" belonging to al Sadia.


 

The source alleged that the explosion resulted in damage to a wheel of the patrol, causing no injuries.


 

Baquba belongs to Diyala province, 57 km to the east of the capital Baghdad.
