An explosive device went off today (05.01.2009-Monday) targeting a patrol of U.S. occupation forces in north of the city of Fallujah, which resulted the damage of Humvee.

A government police source said that: "a military patrol belongs to a U.S. occupation military has been targeted by an explosive device in the center of the town of Saqlawiyah 15 km north of Fallujah" adding the explosive device was planted on the side of the road which was controlled by remote control. 

The source added the explosion resulted the damage of the U.S occupation Humvee vehicle "likely" the casualties among the ranks of the occupiers.
