Puppet government police forces arrested 25 people whom it alleged to be wanted after raids in the different parts of Basra province.

A government police source in Basra Governorate said: The joint security crackdown resulted in the arrest of 25 people accused of committing "criminal and terrorist acts." according to the source.

In the same context, a source in the government police in Diyala province said: "The elements of the police in Diyala province arrested four people in two separate raids and searches at the central and north-eastern city of Baquba.
