Severe clashes erupted in the city of Batha in the governorate of Dhi Qar between angry residents and puppet government police after the blast which occurred yesterday in a popular market killing and wounding more than 95 people. The News Network Nassiriya narrated that shooting had occurred during the clashes resulted in injuries to at least one person and a number of persons arrested by the members of sectarian government police. The network quoted witnesses saying the police wanted to disperse the people gathered in the area of the explosion, fearing the presence of the other car explosion while reporter of the news network Nasiriyah was beaten by government security agencies. It is noteworthy that the people of Batha charged the governor of Dhi Qar, police and the government there for the responsibility of the blast.
