Many political analysts view that the current Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki has put himself in large predicament of a declaration that the withdrawal represents a great victory for the Iraqi Sovereignty. Then it may be used to help the the U.S. in unpalatable order politically , even if there is an urgent need.

The American occupation forces remaining in Iraq with the strength of 130.000 troops are able to enter the city centres from their nearby bases to help government forces if requested to do so.

This confirms what was said by a number of observers to call into question the seriousness of this withdrawal which is as a mere formality for the redeployment of  the American occupation army .

In Iraq there will remain 130 thousand of the occupation forces, including 12 Fighter Divison. It is not expected to decrease number about 128.000 soldiers until the elections in January next year.
