A policeman wounded when an improvised explosive device went off on Thursday evening, July 2, in Tikrit.
"The locally made improvised explosive device went off when a police patrol was passing through Zuhour neighbourhood, near the Education College for Women in Tikrit", police source said.

He added, "The explosion resulted in wounding one policeman while the other suffers from a shock; they were transported to Tikrit General Hospital for treatment."
