According to a Diyala police source, the gunmen have attacked police checkpoints at Ameen district in northern Baquba, which initiated fierce clashes, during which various arms were used.

All streets were blocked and shops closed, due to the clashes that have resulted in killing two gunmen, wounding another and seizing gunmen’s weapons and ammunitions, said the police source.
