US Soldier Killed in Sniper Fire Print E-mail

ImageA US soldier was killed at 8:00 a.m. Sunday by sniper fire in Asri neighbourhood of Diwaniya city, according to a security source.

He added that the US-Iraqi forces cordoned off the scene amidst intense shooting.

The source said that the combined forces have launched a sweeping search campaign in search of the sniper.
