Government security forces in collaboration with rapid forces coming from Baghdad stormed Tasfirat Prison in Tikrit city shot dead many prisoners and wounding dozens. According to a prisoner who called media government security forces indiscriminately and in a barbarian way used various weapons directly targeting prisoners killing dozens and wounding many others. Due to shootings, a fire broke out inside the prison.
