3 Policemen Killed in Baghdad Print E-mail

ImageThree policemen and one civilian killed and two civilians injured in two separate attacks.

Police source said on Tuesday, June 12, "Unknown gunmen attacked on Tuesday evening a police patrol in Boob Al-Sham neighbourhood, eastern Baghdad."

He added, "The gunmen opened a hail of fire on the patrol's vehicle killing three policemen and totally burning down their vehicle."

The source went on, "On Tuesday afternoon a mortar shell fell on a house in Baya' neighbourhood, southern Baghdad killing one civilian and wounding two others."
