Mujahedeen Army one of the Iraqi Resistance faction successfully performed an operation targeting American enemy forces in west of Baghdad destroying a minesweeper according to the statement of the faction.

At the statement resistance faction informed the readers saying: "A group of heroes (Furqaan Battalion) one formation of the Mujahideen Army planted an explosive device targeting a patrol of U.S Occupation forces on 9 Muharram 1430, 6 January 2009 in western Baghdad destroying a minesweeper."
