An improvished explosive device went off on Saturday evening targeting a vehicle of the U.S. occupation forces on the road between Nuaimiya and Fallujah in Anbar Province in western Iraq.

Witnesses said that: " A Humvee patrol went out of the city of Falluja leading to the direction of the village of Nuaimiya to the south of the district of Fallujah, before being completely destroyed in the attack."

The witnesses added that the occupying forces cut the road off from the area of the attack for several hours and air ambulances landed at the scene to transport the bodies of the dead and evacuate the injured. They did not mention precisely about the losses because of the closure of the area.

The city of Fallujah witnesses escalating military operations against the occupation forces even every day Iraqi Resistance carries out succesfull operations while puppet government forces declared a military campaign against the city.
