An improvished explosive device went off on evening (Saturday) targeting a patrol of U.S. occupation forces in the Ghazaliya west of the capital Baghdad.

A government police source said that: The device exploded on a street in Ghazaliya when a patrol "of the American forces passed"

The source explained: "The U.S.occupation forces sealed off the area and did not allow one to enter it. 

Occupation military administration did not comment about the incident.
