An improvished explosive device went off on Tuesday afternoon targeting a patrol of the American occupation forces in the town of Karmah, the city of Fallujah. The explosion led destruction of Zell type of wheel.

Witnesses said about the incident : "the type of Zell wheel one of the patrol for the American occupation forces has been targeted by an IED resulting in the complete destruction."

Witnesses were unable to determine the losses owing to closure of the area by the occupation forces while air ambulances rushed to the place of attack to evacuate dead and injured soldiers.

This resistance attack comes at a time in 24 hours targeting the American occupation forces when more than seven soldiers were dead in separate operations in the light of the significant escalation of the Iraqi resistance in the cities of Iraq, particularly Anbar province.
