The Iraqi resistance performed an operation targeting Delta American occupation military base in western Kut City with Katyusha rockets, according to a government source.

The source explained: "Unidentified gunmen fired 7 Katyusha rockets at the headquarters of the Delta military base, where  "a multinational force headquarters is located."

The source added: "The police cordoned off some areas, which were believed that the rockets had been fired." while the size of the losses resulting from the bombing of base is still not known.
