Unidentified gunmen fired Katyusha rockets at the site of a construction company belongs to the U.S. occupation forces at the west of the city of Numaniya, Kut City.

A government source said that "The location of the work was an American company in the West Nu'maniyah and has been subjected to the rocket attack by unknown gunmen."

The source added, "American forces in the nearby military base Nu'maniyah cordoned off the area in an attempt to arrest the rocket launchers, who fled to an unknown destination."
