A government police source said that two U.S. soldiers were injured by a sniper in the town of Karamah, east of the city of Fallujah in western Iraq.

The source pointed out that the forces of "the American occupation army" immediately closed to the scene and prevented citizens from entering or leaving, without knowing enemy soldiers whether injured or died.

The source added: "U.S. forces" conducted a search for the perpetrators of the attack, as U.S. helicopters flew overhead. Meanwhile occupation army neither confirmed nor denied the incident as usual.
