1920 Revolution Brigades under Jihad and Change Front claimed responsibility for damaging a minesweeper of the American occupation forces in Baghdad with heat bomb.

The statement of the jihadi group said: "Your brothers from the Revolution Brigades western Baghdad faction supported by Allah Almighty carried out an heroic operation damaging American occupation minesweeper with heat hand bomb."

The statement pointed out: The U.S. occupation troops were seen abandoning its losses after the operation, thanks to Allah, Lord of the Worlds.
