An improvished explosive device has exploded on Tuesday afternoon targeting a patrol of U.S. occupation troops in the north of the capital Baghdad, said a source in the government police.

The source added that the device exploded during the passing of occupation patrol in the area of Husseinieh. The source added the attack resulted in the destruction of a Humvee while no details have released about the size of the losses among enemy soldiers because of closure of the surrounding.
