A bomb has exploded targeting a convoy of U.S.occupation forces in north of Babil province on Wednesday. A government source confirmed the resistance attack saying : "The device exploded during the passage of the convoy near Mahaweel camp in north of the province."

It added that: "The incident resulted in the destruction of a Humvee which was part of the convoy while human casualty is not known because the U.S. troops cordoned off the scene."

It is worth to mention that the American occupation forces have been subjected to a similar attack at Wednesday morning in east of the town of Baquba, which resulted in the destruction of Hummer. Meanwhile American occupatio forces admitted the killing of seven soldiers in this month (June) in the northern Iraqi city of Mosul.
