Iraqi Resistance targeted a patrol of the American occupation froces in al Qanat street in capital Baghdad with an IED. Puppet government sources confirmed the attack saying: "We do not know material or human losses of the patrol because of closure of the area by the American forces. No one was allowed to approach at scene."

It is the second resistance operation targeting American occupation forces today in Baghdad where another IED exploded near international public stadium.
