Iraqi Resistance fighters targeted American occupation army patrol in eastern Miqdadiyah of Diyala Province where they were able to destroy one wheel.

Government sources confirmed the attack saying: "American occupation patrol was subjected to an improvished explosive device attack in al Harouniyah area of Miqdadiya where one wheel was destroyed."

The incident area was closed off by the occupation forces.
