One of the biggest umbrella resistance organization in Iraq, Jihad and Change Front with its 10 jihad factions published its position on March, 2010 parliamentary elections.
The Jihad and Change Front during its jihad and clear resistance to the occupier since he set his feet at the land of beloved Iraq recognized all attempts of the enemy both militarily and politically to control our fate and capabilities to serve its interests and ambitions, to realize the wishes of the Zionists to see Iraq dismembered and weak, not able to have nothing. Therefore it has opened the door of Iraq making it a conflict arena for all powers both regional and international, sharing with the neighboring countries influence, increasing and decreasing according to the requirements of the major interests of the occupier.
However, how would they achieve their goals while the people of Iraq gathered around the resistance; they and their plans were already under monitoring.
Based on that, the Jihad and Change Front considers that which is happening now as follows:
1 - The emergence of so-called political process in Iraq since the occupation, starting and ending with the Governing Council of trying to put the fifth edition of the Occupation Government has come because of recognition of the futility of enemy’s military, which tumbled to the strikes and the will of the Iraqi people and its heroic resistance. So it resorted to these methods to achieve its goals which came for her.
2 - What is happening today is a new page of the sharing of power for the occupying powers of Iraq and the one who executes. It is heated conflict and competition between the dishonorable occupation forces that killed the Iraqi people, controlling its destiny, its infrastructure, its sovereignty and dignity. Its tools are people equipping the arms of the occupying forces to achieve shameful goals. But the Iraqi people and its resistance see that the participants of the political process from the blocs, parties and individuals do not represent the will of the Iraqi people. We have reported them; the best of them cannot stand hours before the will of their masters of the occupiers, if they want to stick any position to save its face.
3- The participation to election is to strengthen the will of the occupation and to enable him to extend and enforce agreements to realize its interests. It will bring us nothing only destruction and corruption. The conditions will be worse than it was before. It will produce the other corrupted government that does nothing for Iraq, Iraqis and its members will race to make the concessions and the signing of agreements which will not be recognized by the Iraqi people. Iraqis will consider these compliance agreements as not binding, if it is was legitimate thatn they would say that is legitimate.
