Saturday, 25 October 2008 14:16

His Eminence Dr. Sheikh Harith Sulayman al Dari, Secretary General of the Association of Muslim Scholars declared that the Iraqi resistance to regain its strength, its activity continues to increase, and expected to arrive within a few months to the level what it was before the emergence of councils (al Sahwa) established by the American occupation in cooperation with some of the Iraqi tribes to "combat armed forces groups.”

HEYET Net - His Eminence Sheikh al Dhari clarified in his statement for al Jazeera Net through his participation in International Quds (Jerusalem) Meeting and International Union for Muslim Scholars in Doha saying: “al Sahwa Councils helped the occupation, gave a lot of things and contributed to obstruct the resistance by 50% to 60%, but eventually the fighters were ended and abandoned by the U.S. occupation army, and neglected by the government in Iraq.

Dr. Dari explained that the sectarian conflict will not return to Iraq, and it was not in fact "sectarian conflict" between Sunnis and Shiites, "but it was in reality political fighting and strife behind of which there are the ruling political parties."

Secretary General of the AMSI said: "The opposition of the occupation and sectarian government in Iraq includes all Iraqis; Sunni, Shia and others. The government does not represent anybody only political parties and groups associated with the presence, or absence of the occupation and foreign enterprises."

At the conclusion of his statement, Dr. Dari strongly criticized the Security Agreement that the current government intends to sign with the occupation ...

Sheikh al Dhari added that the agreement goes beyond aspect of the security to the political, economic, cultural and social aspects. It will make the United States to participate in the administration of all these aspects and be the dominant partner.
