ImageSecretary General meets with Sheikh Tantawi and Egyptian Awqaf Minister

AMSI Net - Secretary General of the Association of Muslim Scholars in Iraq (AMSI), Sheikh Hareth al-Dhari met with Dr. Muhammad Sayyed Tantawi sheikh of al-Azhar University and Dr. Mahmoud Hamdi Zaqzoug Minister of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs in Egypt on the sidelines of the second Global Forum af the graduates of al-Azhar University which was held in Cairo capital city of Egypt on Sunday, 13 Rabi’ul-awwal 1428.

Sheikh Ahmad Taha Assistant Secretary General of Religious Affairs and Sheikh Dr. Abdussalam al-Kobaisi Assistant Secretary General for Public Relations also attended to the meeting.

His Excellency Sheikh Hareth al-Dhari briefed on the latest developments happening in Iraq and Iraqis who suffer from violations and abuses.


It is noteworthy that AMSI delegation is visiting Cairo at the invitation of al-Azhar University to attend the second Global Forum of the graduates of al-Azhar, held under the slogan of “Cultural Challenges to the Islamic Nation / Ummah” which will continue for three days.Image
