AMSI Net Special - Secretary General of the League of Arab States Amr Moussa accepted Secretary General of the Association of Muslim Scholars in Iraq (AMSI), Sheikh Hareth al-Dhari and the delegation accompanying him on Wednesday.


The meeting was attended by Mr. Ahmed Bin Hali, assistant Secretary General of the Arab League for Political Affairs, Professor Ali Jaroush responsible of the Iraqi issue in the Arab League.


The interview lasted more than an hour; the notion of brotherhood was stressed to the ways for achieving national brotherhood among Iraqis on the basis of the unity of the Arab Muslim country and the preservation of its independence and sovereignty.


It is noteworthy that AMSI delegation led by Secretary General Sheikh al-Dhari and Assistant Secretary General for Religious Affairs Sheikh Ahmad Taha, and Assistant Secretary General for the public relations Dr Sheikh Abdussalam al-Kobaisi are visiting Egypt for the invitation of the president of al-Azhar University to attend (the second Global Forum of the graduates of al-Azhar), which was held this year under the slogan of “Cultural challenges to the Islamic nation” and concluded yesterday, Tuesday.
