Dr. Muthanna Harith al-Dhari responsible for AMSI Media and Information Department told that the Iraqi crisis must be solved by an Iraqi solution.

“Iraqi crises can not be solved through conferences held in outside Iraq” he said pointing out the recent conference held in Sharm el-Sheikh in Egypt.

Dr. Muthanna Dari spoke in a television interview with Nile TV satellite news Wednesday evening May 9, 2007 through the program (Border Lines). “The matter is not new; we let the Iraqi solution for a long time ago.

We say with all forces opposed to the occupation that the solution must be brought by the Iraqi national groups. For this reason those groups oppose to the occupation gathered, and established Iraqi National Founding Conference. However, the governments will not succeed in capturing these messages, or did not respond initially to go into this issue since it emerged under occupation. Those governments have had the strength of the occupation much, and the project could be imposed which they wanted... As a result the country became like this.”

That has been ignored all these, bringing the case to this conclusion, and therefore resorted to many parties at home and abroad - including the occupation itself - ground to hold conferences out of this crisis.

Dr al-Muthanna Dari told that the conferences like Sharm al-Sheikh are an attempt to cover up, and promote the image which is not genuine about the Iraqi reality. The reality of Iraq is that there is an occupation, and the basis of the problem is the occupation.

The American military occupation led many problems at political, security, economic, social and cultural level. They are trying to take marketing collateral problems such as the debt problem with covering all these problems. We do not know where the money of Iraq went? They have stolen and robbed the Iraqi moneys and then bring people to repay debts of Iraq which is a few million dollars.

Another issue is the question of Iraqi national unity they are talking about, and here I would like to say that national unity is lost because of the occupation and the governments that have arisen in the failed political process.

And on the non-participation of effective players in the Iraqi arena in such conferences, and others, said Dr. Muthanna al-Dhari : “There are many effective actors in the arena who are not participating in these conferences. They are fighting inside Iraq with those parties that have influence in the Iraqi arena, which rejects the entire political process that is the result of the occupation.
