An improvished explosive device a kind of adhesive bomb went off on Sunday targeted a government army patrol in Hawija eastern city of Kirkuk, according to a police source said the government.

The source pointed out: "Three people were killed and a number of people wounded as a result of explosion." It added that explosion also led damage to wheel of the patrol where government security forces imposed security cordon."
