ImageAMSI issued a press release condemning the sectarian militias for burning and exploding the mosque of Ibrahim Khalil in Sayyidiya in Baghdad.

 

The Association of Muslim Scholars in Iraq (AMSI) charged the occupation forces, the current government and sectarian militia leaders fully responsible for this awful crime and the relevant security of the mosques.

Sectarian militias burned and detonated Ibrahim al Khalil Mosque in Sayyidiyah in Baghdad on 27 November 2007, Tuesday. 


 
The aforementioned mosque has been under attack in the past few months, most recently the bombings of its minarets led to its closure. No less than one day before the inauguration, this attack came.

 

The perpetrators of this heinous crime insist on continuing their war on God, Islam and everything which are against their desires. Those people attack on the mosques that are clean, holy and sacred to Muslims.

 

The Association of Muslim Scholars in Iraq (AMSI) condemns this heinous crime, carries the occupation forces, the current government and sectarian militia leaders fully responsible for this crime and the relevant security mosques.
