ImageAMSI issued a press release condemning attacks of the sectarian militias belong to so-called Mahdi Army

and government forces in Khalis.

 

At the press release the Association of Muslim Scholars in Iraq (AMSI) clarified that these sectarian cleansing campaigns conducted against a particular groups sponsored by the government and the government forces are shame for them. The sons of this country are the victorious against them with help of Allah, no matter how long it takes.

The sectarian militias belong to the so-called Mahdi Army attacked to Nahr Al Sayyid and Mujaddad regions in Al Salam belong to Khalis. They forced the families to expel from their houses as burning while attacking to Al Kasab Castle in Al Salam region by these sectarian militias by the support of government forces on 23 November 2007, Friday. These attacks led 11 persons dead from the area who fought against the attack of sectarian militias in defense of their region.  
 


The sectarian militias took 5 corpses of the citizens during the withdrawal and they did not hand them over to their relatives until the time of this press release.

 

The sectarian cleansing campaigns conducted against a particular group by the government forces and the occupation forces are a shame for them. However, the sons of this country are victorious with help of Allah (swt) no matter how long it takes.

 

The Association of Muslim Scholars in Iraq (AMSI) condemns these repeated crimes against the citizens of the regions; carries the occupation, the government forces and the leaders of sectarian militias fully responsible for the crimes.
