AMSI condemned the unjust embargo and barbaric practices imposed by the American occupation forces and puppet Iraqi government forces on the Baiji City.
The Baiji City have suffered unjust blockade and embargo since nine days imposed by the American occupation forces and the forces of the current puppet government. These forces made a number pressures including prevention of residents from leaving or entering it, which led to paralyzing traffic totally, the closure of markets, the scarcity of foodstuffs, the deterioration of the health situation, the difficulty of access to the hospital, broad arrest campaigns that led arrest of dozens of people through the city. The Association of Muslim Scholars in Iraq (AMSI) condemns this barbaric practices and abuses which amounted to an end that could not be tolerated.
AMSI carries the occupation and current sectarian government fully responsible for this and similar crimes.
The Association of Muslim Scholars in Iraq (AMSI) also demands international community to leave the silent attitude, rather to seek to put and to these flagrant violations of human rights in Iraq.
