The Association of Muslim Scholars in Iraq (AMSI) made a press release condemning the arrest of 11 persons including a woman in Mosul City by the occupation forces.
Press Release
The American occupation forces arrested eleven people and a woman in al Mithaak neighborhood in Mosul City at 04:30 at night yesterday.
The arrest crime occurred after the raid of the American occupation forces on the home of citizen Iyad Muhyeddeen Abdul Lateef. They arrested him with his four members including his wife. Occupation forces also arrested the guests who were present in the house on the occasion of relative meetings.
These repeated attacks against Iraqi people will not discourage their resolve; rather they will continue their rejection of the presence of obnoxious occupation.
The Association of Muslim Scholars in Iraq (AMSI) condemns this heinous crime, holds the occupation forces and the current government fully responsible for this crime that is suffered by Iraqis from north to south.
AMSI also demands immediate release of the detainees especially women.
