 The Association of Muslim Scholars in Iraq (AMSI) made a press statement condemning the assassination of Sheikh Isam Hussaini who was the responsible person for science department of AMSI Samarra Branch and imam-preacher at al Mukhtar Baydi Mosque.

Praise be to Allah, peace and blessings be upon the messenger of Allah, His family and companions.
The liquidation chamber still operates under the decree targeting the personalities and competencies against the projects American occupation on the land of Mesopotamia.
On Tuesday morning unidentified group assassinated Sheikh Essam Fallih Hassani) a member of the administrative board in branch of the Association of Muslim Scholars in the city of Samarra and responsible for science department and imam-preacher of al Mukthar Mosque.
The murder occurred after members of this group alighted from the car at ten am at the morning, and opened fire on the Sheikh who was martyred on the impact of direct-fire.
Such crimes against the members of AMSI and others who are rejecting the partition project of the occupation come in the framework of the physical liquidations dependent upon the occupier. It is important that whatever the size of crime, it will not discourage AMSI and its members to continue its right way through the honesty and loyalty to Iraq and Iraqis.
The Association of Muslim Scholars in Iraq (AMSI) condemns this heinous crime and bless the martyrdom of Sheikh Hassani, asks Allah (swt) to put him among His beloved people.
