The Association of Muslim Scholars in Iraq (AMSI) published a press release condemning the killing of three members of one family in Al Dour district in eastern Tikrit City on Tuesday.
Press Release American occupation forces killed three people from one family in the district of Al Dawr at the eastern of Tikrit on Tuesday, 5 February 2008.
The murder occurred after opening fire to this family by the occupation forces and killed the man, his wife and their son with wounding two family members citing the impact to the hospital.
Eyewitnesses said the injury was addressed directly to the head which shows intentional shooting to murder. This shows the tradition of the occupation forces that disregards human rights while it has expressed regret and form a committee to investigate for this incident and other similar incidents which has no result at all.
Indeed the occupation adopted this tactic since the beginning of the occupation of Iraq which means to absorb the anger of the people.
Such criminal acts exercised by the occupier are designed to reach the goal of humiliating people, and pushing them to accept the reality of the occupation.
The Association of Muslim Scholars in Iraq (AMSI) condemns this heinous crime, holds the occupation and the current government fully responsible and demands the whole world to go beyond the stage of silence toward what is happening on the ground of Mesopotamia.
